After more than 50 years living with the consequences of a severe assault, Linda Pharand wanted to share her story. She wrote her narrative in a short account and wishes to share it with others. The Victoria Women’s Centre aimed to help Linda achieve this goal by inviting other women, friends, and survivors to add their stories. Writing can be a powerful tool in the healing process. Linda has never stopped working to rebuild herself even after more than 50 years, and her book is her testimony.
