Camille Hall
The Victoria Women’s Centre Presents the #JeMérite 2020 Scholarship Recipient
Camille Hall has been selected to receive the #JeMérite scholarship. Exceptionally this year, and to mark its 25th anniversary, the Victoria Women’s Centre is awarding this deserving Francophone woman a sum of $2,500.
Despite numerous personal challenges, including the aftermath of accidents, special needs of a child, and responsibilities as a single mother, Camille Hall has undertaken studies at Collège Boréal in Special Education to secure a better future. She proves daily to be someone who does not give up. Significant obstacles in her life have not deterred her from wanting to improve, continue learning, and contribute to her surroundings, starting with her role as a dedicated parent.
Camille is an outstanding student, diligent, thoughtful, and very supportive of her classmates. According to one of her professors, “her maturity and wisdom shine in class” and “everything she has experienced has allowed her to be empathetic, passionate, and warm—qualities that will be essential in her future career.”
The Victoria Women’s Centre is pleased to support her in her personal efforts to build a better future.
