Centre Victoria pour femmes (CVF) is seeking French-speaking women from the Algoma District or Greater Sudbury who are interested in serving on our Board of Directors as board members.

CVF Values, Principles, and Positions
Centre Victoria pour femmes (CVF) operates under a policy governance model. The Board of Directors also follows a consensus-based decision-making model.
- CVF uses a feminist approach, which aims to support women throughout their journey at their own pace and in accordance with their choices, without imposing decisions on them.
- CVF is a pro-choice organization that respects and supports women’s right to access comprehensive, high-quality sexual and reproductive health information and services, including free access to preventive and emergency contraception and safe, legal abortion.
- CVF supports an abolitionist position regarding the legalization of prostitution, recognizing the sexual exploitation experienced by girls and women. This position is not intended to further marginalize women who identify as sex workers. All women are entitled to access our services.
- CVF is committed to advocating for the rights of diverse communities, including the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, Indigenous communities, racialized and visible minority communities, people with disabilities, and other equity-deserving groups.
- CVF is non-partisan and non-denominational. It is not affiliated with any political party or religious denomination and is committed to maintaining its independence in these matters.
