Le Centre de recherche en santé dans les milieux ruraux et du nord (CReSRN), in collaboration with the Centre de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury, Collège Boréal, Laurentian University, and Centre Victoria pour femmes of Sudbury, is pleased to announce that the research report on Francophone immigrants/newcomers is now available.

The report provides an overview of the socio-demographic profile of Francophone immigrants/newcomers in Sudbury over the past 10 years (2009–2019). It also includes information on regions or countries of origin, migration status in Canada, pathways, employment status, and the challenges Francophone immigrants/newcomers face in accessing and using services in Sudbury.

The project was funded by the National Consortium for Health Training – Laurentian and the National Consortium for Health Training – Boréal stream. The Centre for Research in Rural and Northern Health (CReSRN) would like to thank everyone who contributed to this research.
