The CVF receives the 2021 Health Equity Excellence Award
Centre Victoria pour femmes is proud to have received the 2021 Health Equity Excellence Award at the Annual general meeting of the Centre de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury (CSCGS).
“For more than 25 years, CVF has advocated for access to services in French in the field of violence against women. Its reputation, both in Northern Ontario and across the province, is undeniable. An organization run by, for, and with women, it has helped improve the safety, health, and well-being of many women in our region and elsewhere in the province,” said Denis Constantineau, Executive Director of CSCGS.
Gaëtane Pharand, Executive Director of Centre Victoria pour femmes, added: “This recognition is deeply appreciated, as it comes from an organization with which we greatly enjoy collaborating. We are proud to say that, alongside CSCGS, we are working diligently on multiple levels to reduce negative impacts on individuals. It is an honour to help create a safer and healthier living environment in French.”
